Great to see short stories landing at WriteTime – in good time for our next competition. Closing date is 30 June so there’s plenty of time to get writing.

Some people have been asking about themes. Difficult one. Yes there may be benefits in setting a theme, giving writers a starting point and a focus. On the other hand, a theme can be a constraint and we believe older writers should be free to write what they want, whenever they can. If not now . . .
